Welcome to the Sisters In Spirit Candlelight Vigil!
For years, communities have pointed to the high number of missing and murdered Aboriginal women and girls in Canada. As part of our commitment to the issue and to the countless families who are still in need of justice, NWAC is a lead organizer in Sisters In Spirit Vigils, a national movement that encourages concerned citizens and Aboriginal community members to gather on October 4th.
We gather to honour our lost sisters and their families. We gather to show we are a united front. We gather to shed light on a crisis that affects every Canadian. We gather to pressure all levels of government to act and ACT NOW! We invite you, your organization and your community to join with us in solidarity every October 4th.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
